As a member of Southwest Rural Electric
Cooperative,
you have a voice in the decision-making process of the company.
An Annual Meeting of SWRE members is held each year
on
the
second Thursday of August. Location of the Annual Meeting rotates
each year between three sites: Vernon, Altus, and Frederick.
Notices of all member meetings are published in
local newspapers, SWRE
NEWS, billing materials and on this web site.
District Meetings are also held each year to
discuss issues facing members
in the district and to elect representatives to the Board of Trustees.
Only members living within the district can vote during district
meetings.
