     Thursday, May 28 -- 10 p.m.

SWRE has lost approximately 25 poles in Thursday afternoon's storm, primarily in  the area north of Electra, Texas, that is served by the Guyer substation. The co-op will back-feed that area as much as possible, but in some cases poles will have to be replaced before power can be restored. Because of the scope of work, as many as 10 residential accounts may be without power until Friday morning. SWRE crews will work through the night to rebuild the distribution line. Muddy conditions complicate the repairs.
